2024 TRICARE Provider Handbook Now Online to Preview

The 2024 TRICARE West Region Provider Handbook, effective Jan. 1, 2024, is available to preview. The handbook is updated annually and contains important information about TRICARE contract requirements along with the most recent updates. Providers are required to review the handbook in its entirety as a component of their TRICARE Provider Agreement.

Submitting timely consult reports (also known as clear and legible reports or CLRs).
Following TRICARE’s access-to-care standards for beneficiary care.
Submitting accurate and timely provider data changes to HNFS via our TRICARE Provider Roster template.
Using CareAffiliate® to submit authorization and referral requests and complying with pre-authorization and referral requirements.
Maintaining credentialing requirements for all providers within the group.
